A Little About Me
Hello! Thank you so much for taking time to visit our class website. I grew up in Whitehouse and graduated from Whitehouse High School. I attended UT Tyler where I received my bachelor's degree of Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my 6th year to teach in Whitehouse ISD but my 11th year of teaching. It is exciting teaching in my hometown. Since I was a small girl playing school, I have known that teaching was what I wanted to do. I truly feel teaching is "my calling." When I reflect over the past 10 years, I wonder who learned more, the students or me. Each day in our classroom is different, exciting, and challenging.
I have been married to the man of my dreams for almost 5 years! He too is a product of Whitehouse ISD. We have a very rowdy 2 1/2 year old little boy! He keeps us on our toes and going constantly. We also have a Chihuahua named Daisy (She doesn't know she is a dog.) During our spare time we enjoy riding our 4-wheelers and muddin'. My favorite color is PINK and I love PURSES! I love monogramming and appliqueing and of course going shopping too! I am sure that there are many more things that you will learn about me as the year progresses!
